Kerafed, short for Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development, is an apex organization in the Indian state of Kerala, dedicated to promoting and supporting the fishing industry through cooperative efforts. Established in 1977, it serves as a pivotal body in enhancing the livelihoods of fishers by providing them with necessary resources, training, and financial assistance. Kerafed focuses on sustainable fishing practices, improving the quality of fish products, and developing marketing strategies to ensure fair prices and better income for fishermen. Through its network of cooperatives, Kerafed plays a crucial role in the overall development and welfare of the fisheries sector in Kerala.

Age limit :

18 – 40. Only candidates born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities, SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
