Candidates should have Veterinary Science (MVSC) or M.Tech Dairy Technology or M.Sc in Animal Science or M.Sc in Animal biotechnology.

Minimum one year experience in animal care field is mandatory. Preference will be given to those having work experience in Government/ Public Sector Institutions.

Lead the Animal Welfare activities of Kudumbashree Mission, coordinate project planning and policy level activities.
Co-ordination of field level activities with and outside the state.
